I've been doing a bit of online dating lately, and I'm coming to some worrying conclusions;

1. If, under her description, she says she's "average" sized, she's lying, and the photo she's supplied is at least 10 years old or very carefully lit. I'm quite prepared to believe men do this too, but I have no reference point.

2. I seem to attract nutters. I went out with a women on Friday; seemed perfectly nice, (except, see point 1), but was a possessive bunny...

When the weather's miserable and I'm thinking about moving to sunnier climes it's worth reminding myself that work can be great sometimes.

I'm beginning to think taking a year off may have permanently affected my motivation. This time last year I was in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand, now I'm in miserable South London. I'm lucky my job is really interesting otherwise I wouldn't be able to get out of bed in the morning at all.
