Well, it is now officially Sunday here in Denmark!

Unknown to most here, I started on a weight loss program monday of this week and also thursday I stopped smoking.

So, this is really a frustrating time, lol

But figured I would make some posts here once in a while to keep track/record of how it goes!

Currently on 60 hours since my last cig, and damn I could use one right now, lol

I got a bike computer on the 27th of April, and it records my total milage since then.

Currently, it is a fairly low 299 miles.

I'm off on holiday for 3 weeks of cycling, so it should be more impressive next month.

another of the Tempe Brennan books, this times she's in Guatamala looking into villagers that were killed in the civil war and trying to identify the remains so that the relatives can put them to rest. While there a series of disappearances and a body in a septic tank lead Temp to become involved with the local police on an investigation that takes her back to Montreal.

Some really interesting stuff in this book, one of the things I like about this series is that aswell as some good...

So, each month I get paid and each month I get income tax taken out of my hard earned money. This is something everyone is used to and I can see the reasoning behind it (Although I do think income tax is stupidly high)

This morning I got my annual letter from Egg showing the amount of interest I'd earned on my savings account. Not a lot, £30.

The thing that has got my heckles up, is that I have had £5.75 of that £30 removed as income tax!!!

Another lovely book, this one more solid than the first with the characters aleady established and we get to learn more about Mr j l b Matekoni and Mma Makutsi.

really cant recommend these books enough they are beautifully written, with nice gentle humour and lovely visions of Africa.
