Anyone have one? I'm not sure if my pc is up to running the game so would like to try it before commiting myself!

I don't think they've opened up the buddy program yet. Give it a couple weeks more, I think.

DVD-ROM: Quad-speed (4x) DVD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE SPACE: 30GB

That is about the minimum spec, according to the websites.

Although in my opinion you're going to want 2GB RAM minimum, which I believe is the "recommended" amount.

Personally, I feel that for video games these days, the recommended spec is the new minimum.

As for the Buddy System, Levin is quite correct. The official response is "we're waiting for the first wave of paying subscribers to settle". Which means they're waiting for the free months to end and for people to file a subscription.
