Heya,

I've not been on much. Mostly because AOC crashes fairly often with bluescreens and such. Probably my computers fault but I can't be arsed to diagnose and RMA any bits this summer.

So I've made Linux (Hawkwind) GM of Freddys Horde for now (although he does not know it yet- heh heh).

I'll be playing when the computer behaves nicely and hanging around here though of course! And if anythings needs to be built to complete Tier 1 guild city, just PM me here and I'll get it done.

Mainly it's just cash and Copper needed to complete the walls, gates and towers around the city.

I'm an old DAOC player who is looking for a new challange. I've tried some MMO's but nothing has been like old Hib Excalibur.

Was wondering if AoC is worth a go and if there would be a guild there who would want to pick me up.

I never played DAOC but I think that makes me unique in the FH bunch Any of the following can invite for Freddys Horde on Dagon server so if you want to have a natter and the like pester one of us

Hi Guys,

Not an easy decision to have made but I feel I need to keep my interest alive in the game for the moment and am finding it difficult to get into groups.

You're all super people and especially massive thanks to Uncron / LordJOX who pretty much single handedly got FHorde going.

I would like to get into playing with bigger groups with the pros / cons that that will bring, to this end I will be sending an application in to Lords of England. This is because some of their members are also FH users and they seem to have a decent ingame reputation.

Convo me any time for help / chat and I'll be on here as often as ever

well its been a week or two with very little FHorde activity on the server. have we all sacked AoC or moved to bigger more active guilds? seems a waste but its not like we can encourage oteher players to join a dead guild. Anyone with suggestions do post or last one out switch off the lights

Heya, I've not logged in for over a month and have relinquished guild leader status a long time ago to Linux.

Freddys Horde was at the start intended to be a social and newbie starting hub for FH members, so if activity has more or less ceased and people want a more active guild or maybe access to high end raid content and such, I suggest scouting for a new one.

Personally I've cancelled my subs as the game just wasn't a fun experience after the mid-level segment.

It was great while I played, with over 100 members (included alts) playing actively, but sadly the amount of people that logged in declined after 3-4 weeks or so.

Well was playing on Aqualonia, but stopped 3 weeks ago after patch that made me ctd every 5 min without any conan "crash" msg or windows msg, just an ctd as if i had hit alt-F4. But will wait until end of summer before closing account and see if they will release any more content, if not i'm out.

Gonna try it again this weekend and see if i can play or not, if not i will cancel.

Pity they where in so big need of money so they released the game 6 months - 1 year to early.

Hope Mythic dont do the same with WAR but saw they cut a large chunk of content out.

Better having the stomach to cut out content rather than promise and make alot of content that is half-assed and half-finished I guess.

After all the ToS nerfs I started to get a little disappointed in the game ... mostly because it was just nerfs that I was seeing, and no attempt to buff weak classes such as assassins or added content despite many promises to add stuff in June.

So I reduced my playtime and rolled a dark templar ... only to then find that melee speed has been reduced, yet another nerf!

I appreciate why nerfs are needed but it seems "fun"com are only interested in nerfs and not adding content, game over for me I'm afraid. I might pop in from time to time to see if anything is happening or if any groups need a priest around 58-60ish but other than that I will see you guys in War...
