Unreal ED 3.0 help plz :p

hello all right iv created a big box and put terrain in it and all that looks quite good (4 a nOOb) and i wanted 2 put a box in it but when i got 2 subtract it fucks up the hole map and when i got 2 add it makes the box solid and i cant put anything in it

think of the unreal world as all underground and solid

you made a large area,
put some terrain in it,

now you have to put a cube addition and a smaller subtraction, to make the it hollow


id that what you were after???

the idear was 2 but a room in it or and put a building in it i was going 2 have 4 towers and put the flags on top 4 ctf but i can place the biulding that i have made on the terrain plz help me out

make the building outside the level, then cut and paste

hmm ye iv don that but nothing appers just the lights and stuff and how would i put on a outer lare of texture 4 the building?? i have inner texturs lights and stuff but i cant seem 2 put textures on the out side wall??
