Flex damage is based 50% of dex, 50% str. Two flex styles are based of blocking, and because of the high dex on a Heretic & spec shield it helps with blocking itself.
CoZ really wins fights, it renegerates way more HP than 50 AF would reduce on damage (10 AF ~= 1% damage reduction) and way more than additional hits would bring.
Timers aren't a problem. Before I go out, I have 25% duration gear on, hit CoZ then and it's up for 12.5 out of 15 minutes, plenty of time to use other charges.
I sometimes am at 1% health and CoZ brings me up again, even if EP or CW charge are down.
